Our Review
Alexandra Lawerentz' new single Back For Christmas is a dynamic calling card from a new, potential pop sensation. Ms. Lawerentz spirited vocals were the most intriguing aspect of this recording. I will enjoy hearing more from her in the future. The song itself is, itself, a nice wall-of-sound effort from producer Bruce Witkin; it qualifies as a nice addition to FM radio playlists this season.
The CD's enigmatic kicker--a spoken-word homage to John Lennon's Imagine hidden at the end of the track--made me smile.
