Our Review
I was unfamiliar with the music of Douglas Blue Feather. What a delight to hear these straightforward arrangements, played impeccably on Native American flute. While I have all these songs many times before, Blue Feather's treatments lend them an earnest, earthy quality that I found immensely appealing.
My favorite track on the CD was O Holy Night, a song I like anyway, but one whose natural pathos was enhanced by Blue Feather's simple, ethereal flute. For lovers of Native American flute, Douglas Blue Feather's Kokopelli Christmas is a definite buy this holiday season.
