Our Review
There is at least an astronomical chance that Nicolette Sheridan will read this review, which makes this a high point in my reviewing career, at least theoretically. (Hi, Nicolette!)
Although not as interesting to me as Nicolette Sheridan, Michael Bolton's A Swingin' Christmas still has a lot going for it, not the least of which is über-crooner Bolton, whose sweet vocal stylings here are eminently swoonworthy for those in the proper demographic. Primarily made up of pop tunes that surrender their virtue to his "swingin'" treatments, there are are also two traditional carols (Silent Night and Joy To The World) rounding out this 10-song set. This is warm, orchestrated, easy listening pop with extremely high production values, so what's not to like? I enjoyed all of it, especially the part where I Googled up some images of Nicolette Sheridan.
Michael Bolton's A Swingin' Christmas should appeal to a wide variety of listeners.
