Our Review
Even as the days until Christmas grow short and I increasingly turn my attention to recent seasonal releases, I couldn't let the opportunity pass to say a few words about Sukay when their CD arrived in the mail.
I am a sucker for Andean pipe music, and I have admired the music of Sukay for several years. Their Navidad Andina has been a long-time favorite Christmas record. My favorite pieces on Navidad Andina are the rousing El Nacimiento en la Puerta del Sol, and the incomparably brilliant la Pastora. Navidad Andina is quite danceable and makes a fine addition to the CD changer at party time.
Listening to Sukay tops my list of fun things to do during the holiday season.
