Our Review

Here are a bunch of downright pleasant, flute-laden new age selections, piccolo and flute, curtesy of Sandra Tiemens. Interlaced with flute are all kind of percussion. Ah, what a nice howdy do for a sleepy Sunday morning. The arrangements are crisp and not too over-the-top ethereal, and I like that. Ave Maria, augmented with strings, is my favorite in this set. Flute and Ave Maria go with one another like Archie and Veronica.

I am not listening to all that much new age music right now, but Timberline Players' Colors of Christmas held my attention. It will work extremely well in a mix, and it holds its own all by itself.
